Education and University

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Screenwriting from the Lisbon Film and Theatre School. I later resumed my studies at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, where I completed a master’s degree in Comparative Studies and, in 2024, a Ph.D. with a thesis on the uses and philosophy of lists in literature. Currently, I’m a member of the Center for Comparative Studies, where I continue my research on the history of crystallography in the 19th century.

Teaching Portuguese

I’m a third-generation teacher, and I’ve taught Portuguese in many ways and in different settings — in high schools and universities, to young learners and adults, online and in person, in groups and privately. My passion (apart from literature) is the transmission of knowledge, whether in the classroom or through translation. I believe deeply in the difference a teacher can make in someone’s life.
