Welcome to Stone Soup
The Stone Soup is a low-power and highly synergistic cube. It aims to provide a drafting, deckbuilding and gameplay experience in which the total is higher than the sum of the individual parts – when brought together individual cards create powerful engines, combos, and gameplay synergies.
Check out the CubeCobra page for the full list or to do some practice drafts against bots.

New to Drafting?
Drafting can seem daunting, especially if you're drafting a cube for the first time. Keep the following basics in mind:
- Build a proper mana curve. It's better to have things to play and to be able to do something each turn, than to be stuck with 5- and 6-drops in your hand. Prioritize cheaper (2 and 3 mana value) creatures and spells.
- Draft removal. You need ways to disrupt your opponent. Take removal when you see it. See the Removal section for a non-exhaustive list of things to be on the lookout for.
- Let the cards dictate your deck. Don't force a strategy. If Blue isn't coming to you, pivot to what is open.
- Don't forget lands. Good fixing allows you to actually cast your spells. Prioritize them highly.

Discard and Madness
In its simplest form, the Madness deck is found in Red and Green, offering cheap aggressive creatures and late-game payoffs.
You can bridge into Blue for a tempo-focused build using self-bounce.
Ninjas
Sneak in high-impact Ninjas for tempo advantage. Pairs well with artifact, discard and bounce strategies.

Changelings & Tribal Synergies
With some worthy payoffs, changelings synergize with many of the tribal strategies in Stone Soup. Keep in mind that Liliana's Contract and Mirror Entity is almost a 2-card instant-win combo, as long as you have three other creatures on the battlefield.
Chromanticore
Abusing Cairn Wanderer and Soulflayer with Chromanticore.
Intruder Alarm & Krenko
Infinite Tokens. Krenko makes goblins, Alarm untaps Krenko. Repeat.
Kodama Shenanigans
Kodama of the East Tree + Bouncelands often results in infinite triggers.
Deathtouch Pingers
Granting deathtouch to a creature that deals damage (pingers) creates a board wipe engine.
